What is AR 450?
AR 450 steel, also known as abrasion-resistant steel with a hardness level that averages around 450 HBW (Brinell Hardness). Beshert guarantees surface hardness between 420-470 HBW. The surface hardness of AR450 surpasses that of AR 400. This high-carbon alloy steel grade is specifically engineered to withstand harsh conditions and abrasive materials, making it ideal for use in environments subject to heavy impact and wear. Its unique composition allows for a combination of strength, durability, ductility, impact resistance, and weldability, ensuring longevity and reliability in heavy-duty applications such as mining, construction, and manufacturing of heavy equipment.
