What is AR 450?
AR450 is a through-hardened, abrasion-resistant steel plate rated at approximately 450 Brinell hardness (HBW). Designed for high-wear environments where standard mild steel fails prematurely, this high-carbon alloy steel grade delivers a proven combination of surface hardness and structural toughness.
